This pilates class is structured to mobilise, strengthen and stretch the body, whilst improving the connection of the mind and the body. The focus point of the class is to strengthen the core of the body, whilst making the mind feel calm. We will build heat through low-impact mat work.
This class is suitable for beginners to long-time Pilates lovers. There will be adaptations and progressions to make the level of each exercise suitable for how your body is feeling that day.

My Pilates journey started as a teenager, when my figure skating coach signed us up for classes to support training on the ice. I didn’t start off as the most enthusiastic Pilates student. To my own (and my teacher’s) surprise, once I started to get a grasp of the movements, enjoy the mind-body connection and flow of the practice, Pilates classes turned into one of the highlights of my week. Although I didn’t manage to stay fully injury-free, I believe the consistent Pilates practice helped me recover and go into professional skating.
I want to share the joy of flow and help people enjoy activities they love through providing tools for free movement and more confidently, for as long as possible. And to stand a little taller!
