Emily is an experienced Sheffield-based yoga teacher and garden designer with a love of rock-climbing and barefoot life. Whether a dynamic vinyasa class or a deep and meditative stillness practice, we love Emily’s warm, engaging, and encouraging teaching style and how she makes everyone feel welcome in her classes.
"My teaching style is dynamic but grounded, encouraging students to be playful with their practice, whilst having a strong awareness of their breath. I believe that yoga can change the world, and my goal is to strengthen the body and quiet the mind, for happier, healthier humans. We spend too much time rushing around, with our brains chattering away. For me yoga is about slowing all of this down, being more present, finding joy in movement and living more fully. "

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” — Viktor Frankl
Mindfulness is a pause. It is a space where the mind stands still.
Through mindfulness practices such as meditation, breathwork and deep relaxation, we can find a place of deeper presence and stillness within - and we can learn that in each moment we have the power to choose our response.
