Join us for our first Friday Night Supper as we practice the sweetness of doing nothing, "dolce far niente" - but being, with friends, family and in community.
This Friday Night Supper we are serving an Italian feast. Fresh pasta, funghi, homemade chocolate torte and we will "salute" with a glass of natural wine.
Inspired by Italy's Sardinia and its 'Blue Zone' lifestyle, we will be using a key longevity ingredient, eating together. Blue Zones are regions where people tend to live extraordinarily better and longer lives, and where eating together is common practice. Eating with family and friends can help people build stronger relationships, enjoy and digest food better, and foster healthy communities.
Come and enjoy a cosy evening meal full of conversation and laughter. We look forward to having supper with you!
"Il dolce far niente" is an Italian phrase, and philosophy. It translates as "the sweetness of doing nothing."
