Community Kitchen.

Seasonal, authentic and nourishing. Soul foods, whole foods and bowl foods cooked with love. Our food is made fresh to order in our kitchen, using locally-sourced, seasonal and organic produce wherever we can.

Our Food Ethos.

Our menu is all about simple food cooked well and with love. We want you to feel nourished by spending time in this space with us, whether that is through relaxing with friends, connecting with people in your community, lingering with a book and a coffee for a bit of solo-time or just from eating and drinking something that makes you feel good.

Even though our style and flavours are global, we incorporate locally-sourced, seasonal and organic produce where we can. Right down to allotment and garden growers from Hope Valley with all sorts of shapes and sizes of vegetables and fruits that may end up in your juice or on your plate. We do this for people and planetary health but we love that it supports small local businesses and enterprise too.

We are working towards zero-waste in the kitchen which means we will make-to-order and use what we have until we run out, we’ll creatively use leftovers, we will compost and we will minimise packaging. This includes using our hand-made @clare.anderson.ceramics crockery inside Open House and staying flexible and creative about take-outs - we’d love to hear your ideas here too!

We really care about the suppliers and partners we work with and we respect and trust their ethos, including…

Organic superfoods from @adunasuperfoods and @bionaorganic
Locally-sourced, seasonal produce from @mossvalleyfinemeats, @severnandwyesmokery, and @middletonsdairy

There are so many amazing people doing good things in the industry, small-batch or larger scale and we will introduce them to you through your food and drinks along the way!
